The switch and NVR hardware in that device probably doesn't really change the price much, they're pretty basic features. It's already a fairly aggressively priced product. It does have a controller. People love the UDM-pro, and it has no more hardware and software issues than any other unifi product. It's grouped based on port count and not having PoE on other charts. ¯\_ (ツ)_/¯. It's incredible that the Unifi store doesn't offer us any way to know exactly what we are buying. cloud key enterprise = $4,999.00 !!!! For connections with a clear line of sight, they are a good default option. Frequencies above and below 5 GHz have different characteristics, making them better suited to certain types of networks. There are also licensed options to consider. Ubiquiti works well for certain cases- like creating dense, multi AP covered spaces at a reasonable cost.
